TQS CLASSIC Cassette Spotlight

All TQS-CLASSIC cassette radiators are characterized by homogeneous light patterns, process-adapted response times, durability, and robustness. This makes them ideal for cyclical or frequently interrupted production processes. Their torsion-resistant housings are made of deep-drawn aluminum-plated sheet iron; their excellent reflection properties ensure efficient heat transfer.

Do you value high IR performance and durability?

Then consider our medium-wave quartz cassette infrared panel heater, the CLASSIC heater, which has been tried and tested for decades. Radiation and convection losses are reduced to a minimum by highly effective metal reflectors. Our heaters are insensitive to extreme temperature changes.
The CLASSIC heater is designed for industrial use in all thermoforming machines and is characterized by its very fast heating time, uniform light distribution, and maximum durability.
The CLASSIC heater requires a holding current.

1. Positioning the lower and upper radiator fields

100% power consumption

2. Heating the workpiece

100% power consumption

3. in the resting position procedure of the lower and upper radiator fields

25–30% holding current

4. Workpiece vacuum forming

25–30% holding current

5. Workpiece cooling

25–30% holding current

6. Workpiece unloading

25–30% holding current

7. Reloading slides

25–30% holding current

D.h., during a production cycle comprising production steps 1–7, the CLASSIC radiant heater must be supplied with approx. 25–30% of its nominal voltage for steps (1), (3) to (7) in order to maintain the start-up heat for the next production cycle. (See VELOX radiant heater operating mode and energy consumption.)
All VELOX radiators are also available for vertical installation.
